Haryana@2047 is a collaborative initiative of the Government of Haryana and UNDP India. It is envisioned as a co-creation exercise where internal and external stakeholders shall articulate the roadmap for Haryana’s multifaceted development. It is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for Vikasit Bharat by 2047. The team is providing dedicated support to UNDP India for awareness generation, partnership building, coordination, and communication among various stakeholders.

Key Highlights

• Development of a collaborative website for the Haryana @ 2047 initiative https://haryana2047.sdgcc.in/.
• Formation of 6 Working Groups, namely Education, Skilling and Employment; Health and Nutrition; Agriculture and Allied Sectors, Food and Environment; Growth Enablers and Infrastructure Development; Regional Development and Local Self Government; and Finance and Security.
• A two-hour introductory meeting of Haryana@2047 organised in July 2023 at the Haryana Civil Secretariat, Sector 1, Chandigarh, to discuss the roadmap to achieving the Haryana @ 2047 Vision Document Creation exercise.
• Working Group Consultations are being held to highlight Signals that shall prove to be opportunities or disruptions in the forthcoming decades, building scenarios around the Signals and identifying pathways to deal with them.
