Having always been inclined towards public policy, Pinaca India was one of the most enriching experiences. I got an opportunity to interact with academicians from top institutes and put forward plans to the civil servants occupying the highest posts in the city. It helped imbibe confidence in me for my future endeavours in the field of public policy and social service. I will always be indebted to the guidance and exposure I received at Pinaca India.
The internship helped me to move away from my comfort zone and work with some in-depth economics concepts for analysis. Interactions and discussions with other interns provided me with a feeling of working together even in a work-from-home environment. Great communication was established between the team and our mentors. An excellent learning experience that improved my professional and personal skills.
I got the chance to analyse various policies of the Centre and State Governments. This internship helped me learn how to write blogs on the recent policy issue, schemes, and government programs. I got to contribute to significant proposals submitted to the State Government of Haryana. I gained the experience of a general understanding of the work in the policy firm.
The internship offered me a hands-on experience in research in domains that were previously out of my purview. It gave me a much better understanding of how policy proposals are generated and how to find solutions specific to the region in question. It also allowed me to explore my areas of interest via my blogs.
Writing articles every day improved my writing and researching skills extensively. I was also involved in making content for social media, which helped me improve my content-writing and curating skills, catering especially to social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
I learned a lot in the domain of writing in quite a short period. I was introduced to the process of ideation behind content for social media and how to portray simple content creatively and engagingly. I learned skills like SEO and WordPress, writing blogs and news articles, translating from English to Hindi, etc. The internship helped me manage work and time personally and professionally.
